Stir Fried Rice
STIR FRIED RICE
*For best results rice will need to be cooked a day ahead (or the night before) and refrigerated*
INGREDIENTS

Long grain Rice – 1 c

Braggs Amino Acids – 2 Tbsp
|
Peas – 1 c
|
Ginger – 1 tsp
|
Carrots – 1 c, diced
|
Black Pepper – 1 tsp
|
White Onion – 1, diced
|
Pink Himalayan Salt – 1/8 tsp
|
Scallions – 2, diced
|
Cumin – ½ tsp
|
Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
|
Chili Powder – ¼ tsp
|
Sesame Seed Oil – 3 Tbsp and 1 Tbsp (keep separate)

DIRECTIONS

In a small pan, bring 1 Tbsp of sesame seed oil to low heat, add onions and garlic, and saute until onions become translucent.

In a separate larger pan, bring 3 Tbsp of Sesame Seed Oil and seasonings to medium high heat, then add rice, stirring to coat in seasoning. Let cook for about 2-3 minutes, then add peas, carrots, and sautéed onions and garlic.

Fry until carrots are tender, adding Braggs (or sub for soy sauce if preferred) the last few minutes.

Removed from heat and garnish with scallions.
